NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-Delhi) will hold a series of Open House events for candidates who have cleared the JEE Advanced 2025 exam. The events will be held in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru under the Institute’s ‘Experience IITD’ initiative. Organised by the Office of Academic Outreach and New Initiatives, the Open House aims to help students make informed choices by providing clarity on academics, research, extra- and co-curricular activities and life at IIT Delhi. It also seeks to answer queries on course structures, hostel life, international opportunities and career prospects. This is the first time IIT Delhi is organising the Open House across three cities. The goal is to expand its outreach and allow students from different regions to engage directly with faculty, current students and alumni. The series begins with an online session titled “IIT Delhi Calling” on 6 June (Friday) at 6.00pm. This will be followed by the main hybrid event on 7 June (Saturday) at IIT Delhi from 9.45am to 5.00pm, with a parallel offline session at ICT Mumbai from 11.00am to 2.00pm. The final session will take place in Bengaluru on 8 June (Sunday) from 2.00pm to 5.00pm at IISc Bangalore. During the Open House at IIT Delhi, students will hear from Director Prof. Rangan Banerjee and the Deans of Academics and Student Affairs. The in-charge of the Office of Career Services will also address students on placement, internship and career opportunities at the Institute. A dedicated segment will focus on the entrepreneurial ecosystem at IIT Delhi, explaining how students can turn ideas into ventures. There will also be a session on undergraduate admissions at IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus, highlighting its admission process and student life. Interactive sessions with current students, alumni and faculty will provide first-hand accounts of academic and campus life at IIT Delhi. Student clubs and societies will conduct live demonstrations and one-on-one counselling, particularly at the IIT Delhi campus, to showcase co-curricular and student-led activities. All JEE Advanced 2025 qualifiers are invited to attend the sessions.
